Renaissance of Vero Beach

Visitation Rights for Residents

Effective May 6th, 2022


All Visitors must check in at front desk prior to entering Renaissance Senior Living


All visitors must receive a temperature screening prior to entering

  • Any visitor with a temperature greater than 100 will be asked to come back when the temperature is below 100. If the resident and visitor both agree to proceed with the visitation, the visitor and resident will be asked to meet in a private area during the entirety of the visit and to wear a mask when in common areas


Visitors will be asked the following questions at the front desk

  • Do you have any signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection?
  • Do you have any signs or symptoms of a fever?
  • Do you have any signs or symptoms of a cough
  • Do you have any signs or symptoms of sore throat?
  • Have you been in contact with any persons with the above symptoms in the last 24-hours?
  • If the answer to any of the questions above is “Yes”, the visitor be asked to come back when the answer to all questions are “No”. If the resident and visitor both agree to proceed with the visitation, the visitor and resident will be asked to meet in a private area during the entirety of the visit and to wear a mask when in common areas


Renaissance Senior Living’s visitation hours are between 8am – 9pm.

  • If a resident has a visitor who wants to extend their visit outside of visitation hours, the resident will need to verbally request an extension from the Executive Director or Director of Resident Care.


Renaissance Senior Living will not limit the number of guests for any resident


Renaissance Senior Living will not ask for Visitor’s vaccination status or proof of vaccination


Renaissance Senior Living agrees that each resident has the right to consensual physical contact between the resident and the visitor.


The Executive Director and Director of Resident Care are responsible for ensuring that the above policies are adhered to
